As part of the key holder & response service Red Guard will provide a trained, vetted, uniformed Security Officer to either meet your employee at the premises, or at a suitable rendezvous point or even from their home locally and remain with them until the problem is resolved. Our central control room is in constant communication with our officers and is kept appraised at each stage of the operation.

The service is not restricted to escorting key holders; it can be adapted to provide protection for vulnerable staff having to attend any potentially hazardous situation

Our Red Guard officers hold more responsibility i.e. Duties consists of:

To deny unauthorised persons entry using access control measures (Staff movement, Visitors, Restricted areas, Key authorising register, Occurrence book, Delivery register etc) he detection of offenders and prevention of a crime through observation skills. To carry-out all the assignment instructions agreed with between the client and the company. Physical checks of buildings and premises (culverts, drains, overhanging trees, blind spots)Active patrolling (Static guard posts, inside work areas, external parking etc) Communication between guards, supervision and control room.

All our security services guards are high trained and hold sia security licences which are regulated by the security industry Authority.

All our Security Officers are what you’d expect them to be: presentable, honest, reliable, and disciplined. They’ve also been CRB vetted, are SIA licensed and have at least one year’s relevant experience before we hire them. In addition, we train our Security Officers on how to deal with conflict effectively.

Our Security Officers will carry out the following tasks as standard:

• Log their regular night time patrols including all observations and actions taken, reporting these to management in the morning
• Act to deter vandalism and theft by challenging and addressing all suspicious situations
• Alert the appropriate emergency service in the event of an incident
• Search all vehicles and log findings as required
• Assist the enforcement of the sites health and safety policy

Mobile Patrols

Each officer is issued with keys for customer premises and carries out an agreed number of inspections on each site at random intervals throughout each shift.

We presently offer this service to many organisations.

This service is designed to meet individual client requirements, but because, it offers an affordable and effective alternative to a full time security presence.

Patrols Are Carried Out By Uniformed Patrolmen In Marked Security Vehicles most of our vehicles are fitted with GPS tracking systems, enabling us to react quickly and deploy the nearest patrol vehicle. We can offer this type of service on a monthly report to all our clients so they have the peace of mind and knowledge of the exact times we made a visit.

Having a guard on site is the most effective security, but not always the most cost effective. Mobile patrols deliver a site presence and fast response at a fraction of the price.

All our patrols are staffed by SIA licensed officers and electonically monitored. This means your protection is logged and confirmed. Site visits offer a strong deterent against crime and vandalism and help in preventing disasters such as fire and flooding. Visits can be random or at fixed times to suit you. We can also monitor plant alarms, boilers and controls and deal with minor problems. This type of work demands experienced people and we only select officers with a proven record of comittment and reliability for these roles. Key Holdings

If we hold your keys we can respond to situations and alarms immediately. This helps avoid unneccessary calls and worry for you. You have the confidence that your premises are entirely safe.

Our key-holding service complies fully with SIA (Security Industry Association) requirements. This means:

• Your keys are held in a special safe on our premises
• Access to the safe is limited to authorised personnel
• We urgently despatch a mobile unit to your site in the event of an alarm
• On arrival our units perform a comprehensive check for break-ins. If emergency services are present we will liaise with them to prevent unnecessary break-ins and limit damage
• We provide a detailed report on all aspects of the incident the following day

This is the latest in security provision. It is a technology –based solution, which will provide daily summary, which will include hourly logs of the guard’s patrols.

It involves the guard completing a patrol and scanning strategically placed receptors around the premises. Business Watch offers you the added security of knowing that your business premises are part of a wider intelligence network, safeguarding you and other local businesses from crime.

When you register as a Business Watch member you are allocated a Watch Co-ordinator who liaises with the local police to keep you informed of any crime issues affecting your area. You will normally be notified of these via email.

Conversely, if you have any information about crimes or suspicious incidents in your area, you can send it to the Watch Co-ordinator for circulation to other members.
